Appearance:
Large and in charge, Blaze has a big lion-like round head with a strong wide, squared out muzzle. Narrow, almost permanently distrusting-looking blue eyes sit evenly apart and tattered, rounded ears sit atop his head. A thick, muscular neck leads into broad, high-set shoulders and a long back. His long legs are thick with muscle and tipped with enormous, club-like paws. A long tail ends this tom's intimidating build. His mid-length pelt is a golden color marbled with stripes and accented with white. The tom's nose, muzzle, and cheeks are all white with a blaze leading up his forehead. The white continues down his neck and chest, covers his underbelly and a small portion of the underside of his tail and the tail's tip. The tom's legs look as if he's jumped into white paint and are white up to the ankles and elbows. The fur on the tom's tail is thicker and fluffier than the fur on his body, making him look even bigger than he already is.
Personality:
Demanding:Holding high expectations of himself, Blaze also holds the same expectations of those in his clan. He commands with a hard paw and will not take excuses for not meeting his expectations. The tom demands respect, and complete obedience, without question and is not afraid to put any cat or dog who challenges him in their place. Apprentices are trained hard with claws out much like those in the dark forest in order to make sure that they are strong enough. Despite his ability to be fatherly when the time calls for it, he doesn't morn over apprentices lost in training.
FairAlthough he can be harsh, when the situation calls for it, Blaze is a fair tom. The young leader knows that it's better to let sick cats be healed and made strong again than to leave them for death like previous leaders had done before. He teaches apprentices that fear makes a cat stronger to keep them fighting, and gives extra food to apprentices who excel after each training session. Blaze might be dark-hearted, but isn't evil like many other leaders have been.
Backstory:
Born to a rogue mother, Blaze never knew his father. Told he was dead, Blaze never cared about the tom who fathered him and his siblings. The three kits first two months of life were hard as their single mother lived in a fairly barren area which made hunting hard and feeding kits harder. When she heard of Bloodclan, the she-cat took her kits to join and was only accepted due to the kits. There they lived like all Bloodclan kits do. Once they were apprenticed, Blaze's brother left it and found a place as a loaner while Blaze and his sister, Crow stayed to train and become warriors. Both cats were torn up before they were made warriors, but they made it to warrior-ship. Not long after Blaze saw his 15th full moon, Bloodclan's leader died from an infected rat-bite. There were four cats including Blaze who wanted to be the leader and he had to fight all three of the other cats to make his claim permanent. Now he continues to lead with a tight hold and a hard paw in order to make sure that no cats plot against him.
