This is the Code of Ethics laid down by StarPack long ago when ForestPack was founded. To this day ForestPack still lives and breathes by these principles.
1. The Alpha is your Leader. Do whatever he or she says, he or she has your best interests in mind. The only time you may go against the Alpha is when he or she has been corrupted and your own life or the lives of your Pack Mates are in unnecessary danger.
2. Hunt for your Pack before yourself. Puppies and Queens eat first, than the Learners, than the Elders. The rest of the food is for the rest of the Pack to eat.
3. Your Pack comes first, before all else. Everything is done for the betterment of the Pack. Treat every pup as your own, and every member as your brother or sister, every Elder as your Parent.
4. Do not venture into the Outer Lands without permission from the Alpha. Learners must always have an Adult escort. Puppies may go no farther than the Inner Forest surrounding the Camp, and must always have an Adult Escort. Learners may not go past the Outter Forest to the Border without an Adult Escort.
5. It is the responsibility of the Learners to care for the Elders under the guidance of their Mentor.
6. Kill prey only when it is necessary to feed the Pack. Do not kill prey for fun. Always kill as quickly and painlessly as you can, and remember to thank StarPack for all food you eat, every life is sacred.
7.Should the Alpha die or retire, the Beta will than assume the position of Alpha. He or she must than appoint a new Beta by the next MoonRise. If the Beta dies, Leader must appoint a new Deputy by the next MoonRise. If both die, the Eldest PackMate chooses the new Leader, and the new Leader will than choose the new Deputy.
8. If a baby animal of any species is found, it must be helped, as must any Mother with her young.
9. A Dog of the Pack rejects the life of Master and Pet.
