This is the code first laid down by Blood, the founder of BloodClan, long ago, when the Two-Leg Place was new. The Code is to be followed by all of BloodClan. Deviation is punished by death.
1. The Leader's word is Law. Whatever he or she says goes. If you want to go against the word of the Leader, you had better be able to kill him or her in battle and be ready and willing to take his or her place as Leader.
2. The position of Deputy is the Leader's choice for the next Leader. When the Leader dies the Deputy may be challanged to a fight to the death. Winner becomes Leader. If there are no challangers, Deputy is made Leader.
3. Loyalty is to the Clan and no one/nothing else. There are to be NO Life-Mates. Kits are raised communally by all nursing Queens and are apprenticed the day of their 2nd Moon. If anyone shows loyalty to something or someone other than the Clan as a whole, and the Clan as represented by the Leader, they will be killed immediately.
4. StarClan is to be shunned. They turned their backs on us when they allowed Two-Leg Place to be built, destroying our greatest hunting grounds. We walk with the Dark Forest Cats, and that is where we go in death.
5. The singular study of herbs and Healing is forbidden. The Clan will not support cats who live only to tend to possible injuries and sicknesses and spend their time in prophecies. Any cat spending to much time amongst herbs and their teachings will be killed.
6. If a cat becomes too old to hunt for him/herself, or a cat becomes injured/sick or is born with defects that prevent them from ever caring for themselves, they will be killed. In short, if ever a cat can't hunt for him/herself and msut be supported for any length of time by the Clan, except new-born kits during their first 3 Moons, they will be killed and eaten.
7. If, by the age of 3 Moons, a kit is still unable to hunt and fight adequetly, he/she will be killed and eaten. All kits must be able to defend and feed at least themself by the day of their Third Moon.

We will kill the Two-Legs and make them pay for what they have done to our Clan. Any BloodClan cat who meets a foe in battle and lets them live will pay with their own life.
